KJD 413P Bristol LH6L LH-1246 ECW 21868 B43F

KJD 413P was one of 95 LH6L’s that were delivered in two batches to London Transport. They were not a standard LH as they were fitted with a semi-automatic gearbox and power steering. They were also built to a width of 7ft 6 in. Bodywork differences were also a LT requirement.

London Transport also operated the shorter LHS as well.

North Street garage (NS) was the first to get the Bristol LH,
in April 1976, on the 247 and 250, replacing RTs and RFs respectively.

9/92 Loaned to Hellaby (Ambassador Coaches), Paignton

It has been extensively rebuilt in the last 6 months by Roger Pinder its last driver ! It is kept in its current condition as a memory to its 25 years of use by Tally Ho! of Kingsbridge. It has a class 6 MOT.
